Duncan Ealand

Duncan is a Director in our London office.

Duncan has experience in a broad range of P&I and FD&D work, having been involved with disputes and litigation under time/voyage charterparties, contracts of affreightment and bills of lading. He also deals with marine insurance issues and marine casualties including collisions, groundings, salvage and pollution.

His practice has included advising owners, charterers, cargo interests and insurers on a number of complex shipping disputes and the legal issues associated with cargo contamination, unsafe ports, general average, speed and performance, and the carriage of dangerous goods.

Duncan is fluent in French.
