Kate Law

Kate is a managing associate in our London office.

Kate's experience lies predominantly in shipping litigation, with a particular focus on wet shipping disputes. Kate handles charterparty and bill of lading disputes, as well as collision and salvage claims and has dealt with both arbitration and English High Court proceedings as well as other forms of ADR.

Kate also assists our transactional team and has experience in drafting and negotiating loan and security documentation and shipping contracts, as well as managing ship finance and sale and purchase transactions.

Kate has undertaken an overseas secondment to an international salvage company assisting on a large-scale and highly complex maritime salvage operation with both contentious and non-contentious issues. She is fluent in French and has undertaken internships with marine law firms in Singapore and Sydney.
