Campbell Johnston Clark opened a Miami office on September 1st, after appointing well-known Florida-based litigator Neil Bayer as a partner. Bayer, who joined CJC from Kennedys, heads a team focusing on marine claims, with an emphasis on hull and yacht work.

Adding to our offices in London, Newcastle and Singapore, the Miami office opened for business in Coral Gables, Miami Dade County, and is initially homing in on marine incidents occurring in the US and the Caribbean. Neil brings 25 years of experience in a broad spectrum of insurance-based matters specializing in yacht damage, crew/passenger injury and salvage, commercial hull and machinery claims, and cargo and charter party disputes.

“We’re all excited about the opening of the Miami Office,” Neil told CJC Currents. “Not only does it give CJC a global platform for its clients enabling response and representation in North America, it broadens the firm’s presence and capacity in terms of servicing existing clients in the UK and Europe, Singapore and now North America.”

“Looking ahead to the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, we look forward to letting the yacht and super yacht community know of our expanded presence and capabilities.”

Also joining CJC at its Miami office are former team members Chase Jansson and Cindy Delgado, both of whom have both worked alongside Neil for some time. More details of all three can be found in our New Joiners section.
