CJC has added to its senior team following the appointment of Benjamin Middleton as Managing Associate and has made several internal promotions.
Joining the law firm’s London office, Benjamin brings extensive experience in international trade and shipping litigation, advising insurers, ship owners and charterers. His areas of focus include contractual disputes relating to charterparties and bills of lading, but also broader issues concerning vessels, yachts, aircraft, transport and commodities having advised on disputes across arbitration and the English Courts. Benjamin qualified as a Solicitor Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in 2014.
Among the internal promotions, Lucinda Roberts of CJC’s London office has been appointed Managing Associate. Experienced in a wide variety of charterparty, bunker and sale of goods disputes, Lucinda regularly acts for Owners, Charterers and their insurers, in both Court and arbitration proceedings.
Meanwhile, Alexandra Bailey and Francesca Koenders have been promoted to Senior Associates at the firm.
