Chase Alexandra Jansson


Chase is an associate attorney in our Miami office.

Chase represents international insurers, reinsurers, Lloyd’s syndicates, P&I Clubs, shipowners, charterers, yacht transport companies and vessel liveries in a variety of maritime disputes and marine liability claims involving yachts and superyachts, passenger and crew liabilities (Jones Act), physical damage and personal injuries, marina and boatyard operations, vessel arrests and maritime attachments, collisions and marine salvage, pollution and environmental damage derived from vessel operation and navigation, marine products liability, ship repairers legal liability and marine cargo losses.

She also provides counsel to insurers, reinsurers, aircraft MRO facilities and other clients in the aviation industry on commercial transactions, contractual disputes, small aircraft liability claims and crashes occurring on the high seas or other navigable waters.

In addition to her litigation practice, Chase handles a range of transactional matters, including contract negotiation, drafting and review, and advises clients on establishing and maintaining U.S. business operations.

Chase earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her LL.M. from Trinity College Dublin. She is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and U.S. District Courts of Florida.
