Filippo Lorenzon

Filippo is a consultant to the firm.

Filippo specialises in the law of charterparties, bills of lading, commodity sales on CIF and FOB terms, Incoterms and letters of credit. He has also worked on several projects for the European Commission on maritime law reform.

Filippo is a Professor of Maritime and Commercial Law at Dalian Maritime University in China and until July 2018 has held a Chair in Law at the University of Southampton where he was Director of the Institute of Maritime Law from 2010 to 2014. He is dual qualified in both the UK and Italy.
