Helen McCormick

Helen is a director in our London office.

Helen is an experienced dry shipping litigator, dealing with disputes under bills of lading, charterparties, contracts of affreightment, shipbuilding contracts, ship sale and purchase agreements and bunker disputes.  Her practice also includes disputes under towage contracts and offshore contracts.   She advises both shipowners and charterers and their insurers, dealing with a wide range of P&I and FD&D matters.

Helen has extensive experience of running High Court litigation, arbitration (including LMAA, SCMA and LCIA) and mediation. She has also advised on matters involving security and enforcement proceedings in a variety of jurisdictions.

Before joining CJC, Helen spent 5 years working for an International Group P&I Club.
