Jacqueline Zalapa

Director

Jacqueline is a director in our London office.

She deals with a wide range of commercial disputes in the dry-shipping, offshore and private equity sectors, whether in court, arbitration or using ADR techniques. Jacqueline's experience lies in helping clients handle the dispute resolution process from beginning to end, mainly for Funds, Owners and P&I Clubs. She has a particular interest in multi-jurisdictional issues and early dispute management.

Jacqueline is a former Trustee of the Sailors’ Society, one of the world’s largest maritime charities.

She is co-author of “Through the Lens of Maritime Law : A World View” (2020) – the inaugural maritime law textbook published by the Centre for Maritime Law, India.

Jacqueline is tri-qualified in England & Wales, New York and Australia.
