Jacqueline Zalapa
Jacqueline is a director in our London office.
She is an experienced litigator with over 22 years handling a broad commercial litigation and arbitration practice often with multi-jurisdictional issues with particular emphasis on shipping, carriage of goods, shipbuilding and off-shore disputes. She is a skilled tactician with a firm grasp of commercial realities and brings a straightforward user-friendly approach to her work helping clients handle the dispute resolution process from beginning to end, including early dispute management and ADR.
Jacqueline is a former Trustee of the Sailors’ Society, one of the world’s largest maritime charities.
She is co-author of “Through the Lens of Maritime Law : A World View” (2020) – the inaugural maritime law textbook published by the Centre for Maritime Law, India.
Jacqueline is tri-qualified in England & Wales, New York and Australia.
