Marco is the Head of our Genoa office.
He is Italian-qualified lawyer (admitted to practice before the Supreme Court in Italy), a member of the Italian Association of Maritime Law (AIDIM) and The International Propeller Club – Port of Genoa.
Marco has over 20 years expertise covers all aspects of marine and offshore casualty handling, including collisions, groundings, fires and explosions, salvage, total loss, wreck removal, limitation of liability, pollution, general average, insurance coverage, shipbuilding, and charterparty and bill of lading disputes. He is also highly skilled in enforcement procedures and securing claims and/or costs. Marco primarily advises shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, hull and machinery underwriters, and salvors.
Beyond maritime law, Marco provides counsel on insurance and recovery actions for industrial and cargo interests, sanctions, international shipping finance, offshore operations, piracy, bankruptcy, dispute resolution, and large-scale claims related to injuries and industrial diseases.
Marco is fluent in Italian and English.
