Mark Hook

Mark is a qualified Costs Lawyer and CEDR accredited mediator, with his career in legal costs commencing in August 1988. During this time, he has and continues to deal with commercial litigation in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Privy Council, Supreme Court as well as litigation in Dubai, Hong Kong in addition to international arbitrations, covering shipping disputes and commercial litigation in various jurisdictions.

He has considerable experience dealing with shipping costs including, LOF salvage disputes, collisions, allisions, and cargo claims having previously headed up a costs team in another large City of London law firm dealing with maritime costs as well as commercial litigation concerning disputes relating to civil fraud, banking and finance, insurance / re-insurance, trade & energy, aerospace, construction, professional negligence and trusts/estates.
